Wireline Lesson series:

Bond Logging - LVL1

Understanding cement evaluation through the physics of measurement for sonic and ultrasonic tools.
Wireline Lesson series:

What's included?

Acoustic wave propagation theory has many applications in the oilfield. Cement evaluation is one of them. Cement Evaluation Logs (CEL) performed by a cased hole wireline service company identify well integrity and zonal isolation. This course covers the fundamentals of cased-hole cement bond logging with an emphasis on the physics of measurement.
